We Sustainably Harvest Our Evergreens
We use only the tips of the evergreen branches to make our wreaths. This process of harvesting foliage is known as "tipping." This is beneficial to the trees, similar to pruning, resulting in fuller and more vigorous growth.
This is my 2nd year of ordering this wreath and once again, it is absolutely beautiful! We live a long ways from Maine, but it always has arrived fresh and in good shape - and if last year was any indication, it lasted just fine (in our cold weather) until I finally decided I had to take it down Easter week!
