8 People Who Needs Real Christmas Wreaths

Blueberry Christmas Wreath

There are tons of reasons why real Christmas wreaths make amazing gifts and it is no surprise that so many people love the tradition of a full, aromatic wreath adorning their doors during the holidays. But as we plan and buy and exchange our presents, it is important to remember why we give so much and so freely this time of year. It is to let those closest to you know how much you genuinely appreciate and celebrate their presence in your life, and nothing does that better than something lovingly handmade. So, to help inspire you as you give in true holiday spirit, I’ve put together a list of people who would be perfect recipients of a fragrant new wreath

1. Your Grandparents

- Without them, you wouldn’t be here. They kept your parents alive and taught them how to keep you alive and now you can celebrate their hard work by remembering them during the holidays. Plus, there’s research that says that being close to family and friends helps protect against heart disease, dementia and depression, allowing your loved ones to live longer, healthier lives.

2. Your Parents

- For many of the same reasons as your grandparents, only your parents had the added privilege of dealing with your “phases” firsthand. Through all the struggles of parenthood, they still love the heck out of you. Bring home a wreath and share in the memory making together.

3. Your Kids

- Whether your nest has just emptied or is brimming with grandkids, your kids will always appreciate a token to remind them of home. Send them a real wreath, hand crafted, lush and fragrant, and help their Christmas be as full of warmth and love as possible.

4. Local Community Organizations

- There are groups of people out there who dedicate their lives to helping others in local communities and they deserve to be remembered this holiday season. By buying a handmade wreath, you give a gift that supports a community to an organization that supports a community. It’s a wonderful gesture that shows people their work is appreciated and noticed. Send one to your church, a pantry, a shelter or any other charitable group.

5. Business Associates or Coworkers

- Running a business is hard and whether you answer the phones or call the shots you contribute to a common cause. Bring the holidays into the office with a handmade wreath, a labor of love to remind each other of why you work so hard to begin with.

6. Loyal Customers or Clients

- Build stronger relationships with the people who matter most in your clientele by sending them a unique, thoughtful gift to hang in their offices or homes.

7. The Good Samaritan

- Maybe a friend tipped you off to a lucrative business opportunity. Maybe your parents let you move in during repairs to your house. Whatever the favor, a handmade wreath would be a great way to remind them how much you appreciate their support.

8. Your Daycare or Childcare Professional

- These are the people who watch over your children while you keep a roof overhead and bellies full. They work hard to keep your kids safe, happy and exhausted and they grow quite attached to your children in the process. Handmade Christmas wreaths made with real plant materials make gifts steeped in family and tradition because it really does take a community to raise a child.

9. Bonus Person: Yourself

- You work hard. You sacrifice daily to make sure that your kids have the best you have to offer, even if that means four hours of sleep to get ready for Thanksgiving dinner or getting up at 3 a.m. to open presents because your kids can’t wait anymore. Treat yourself to a real wreath this Christmas and let aroma of balsam become part of your family’s holiday memories. Our sense of smell is intimately linked to our memories, meaning that with every whiff of balsam you and your loved ones will be transported back in time to happy days of Christmas merrymaking.
