Made with Balsam Fir, the most fragrant of all the evergreens. Our fresh Christmas wreaths are very full and unique because they are decorated with pine cones, acorns, chestnuts, and reindeer moss that have been gathered from the Maine woods. Your friends and family will be overjoyed when they open the big festive red box to reveal the lush, beautifully decorated and aromatic wreath inside. The scent of Christmas will fill their home, and they'll be thinking of you all season long!

We create our wreaths the old-fashioned way: local residents go into the Maine woods and gather all of the materials that we use to make the decorations -- native pine cones, reindeer moss, Balsam fir, Pine, and Cedar. This supports the economy in our small community and continues our standard of responsible and sustainable harvesting. We use only the tips of the evergreen branches on our wreaths and centerpieces. This process of harvesting foliage is known as "tipping." Rather than harming the tree, this practice is actually beneficial, resulting in fuller and more vigorous growth.

Product Features:

  • Double-sided wreath (This means the wreath is made so that it is green on both sides, which makes it much fuller than regular wreaths. The ring is covered, so it won't scratch your door.)
  • Decorated with red berries, snowy puffs of reindeer moss, native pine cones, acorns, chestnuts, and a festive red weatherproof velveteen bowTopped off with high quality red berries. Your choice of a weatherproof velveteen bow in red or burgundy.‘ï
  • Available in 2 sizes, Regular 22" & Large 26" sizes.

Bring the scent and spirit of a traditional Maine Christmas into your home with our most popular wreath, the legendary Harbor Farm Original. Harbor Farm is a small, family owned company located in Downeast Maine, and we've been handcrafting high quality Balsam Christmas wreaths, centerpieces and other holiday decorations since 1986, making us one of the oldest wreath companies in Maine. We still do it the old-fashioned way, and all of the native pine cones, acorns, chestnuts, reindeer moss and of course, balsam fir are gathered by hand by local residents each year. Not only does this help to sustain our small community financially, but because the materials are gathered from the forests by the very people who live there, it ensures that the harvesting is done responsibly and sustainably.

Make the ensemble complete by adding our elegant New England Centerpiece!

Common misspellings for Wreath are: Christmas Reef, Reefs, Wreathe, Wreathes, and Wreathed

Your photo does not do this Christmas Wreath justice!

Posted by Cindy on 26th Sep 2013

Buying a wreath for our door from your company has become a tradition for us. It wouldn't feel like Christmas without it. My neighbors are amazed that it is real since there are no pine trees in our area. I only wish you sold garland so I could decorate around my door. Please please please consider making that too.

We have been buying this same wreath every year since the 80's. Our family used to live in Maine and moved to Florida and we just love receiving your wreath every year that reminds us of "home". Take care, the Knear's
