Our Tiles

We are presently in the process of adding more series of tiles, so please check back for more additions.

We have tiles from 17 countries and 17 U.S. states. They are from huge factories, small factories, and studios of a few people or only one person. Among them are tiles of very different characters, running from one extreme to the other - from finely molded, hand painted porcelain to stoneware tiles, We have tiles of natural stone, polished, honed, tumbled, and natural cleft, and tiles of so-called faux stone, which may simulate any of the finishes of natural stone.

An important point to make about Harbor Farm and tiles is that we specialize in helping customers to mix tiles for the greatest visual effect and for the most cost effective result.

Tiles are not an expenditure, they are an investment. They not only improve the quality of a house but the quality of life.

Our SW Series

These are exquisite hand made, hand painted, raised relief porcelain tiles, featuring flower, shrub, fern, and tree motifs, either in monochrome or full color.

Our WH Series — Birds, Ducks, Geese, Whales, Wild Flowers, and Lighthouses

We have several series of hand painted tiles based on machine made tiles in 4-1/4 x 4-1/4, 6 x 6 and some 2 x 2. Favorite topics are birds, ducks, geese, whales, lighthouses, and some flowers. Murals and continuous designs are available from any of the Series.

Our WA Series

Our WA Series comprises both hand painted, machine made tiles of different subjects and scenes, and handmade, hand painted, raised relief lighthouse tiles. Custom murals can be ordered and there are also light switch plates in this Series.

Our CT Series

These are hand-painted English tiles depicting farm animals, bees, farm country scenes, and sunflowers. They can be based on 6 x 6 machine-made tiles, or handmade tiles in 4 x 4 or 6 x 6. The six-inch machine-made tiles of this Series can be installed in inexpensive domestic machine-made six-inch tiles, offering the opportunity to design an attractive installation at low cost.

Our KW Series

These are totally handmade tiles, down to mixing the clay and mixing the glazes. They are most notable for their wonderfully attractive and well rendered raised-relief motifs. There is a wide range of subtle colors.

Our CR Series

These are handmade raised-relief tiles, mostly 6 x 6, offering a particular opportunity to tile a space with domestic machine-made tiles at very low cost, and then insert some of these raised-relief tiles at random, creating a whimsical, unusual and attractive installation at very low cost. The character and color variety contribute a great deal to such design possibilities. Colors are sophisticated and subtle.

Our DC Series

The tiles in this Series are meticulously hand painted, in fine detail, on tumbled marble, although the tile can also be ceramic.

Our MO Series

These tiles are made by the Cuenca technique, by which borders of the design are sculpted into the mold, yielding their characteristic fine outlines. Glaze is pooled into the low-lying spaces. Colors are bold and strong.
