A Master Bath

This bathroom has a look of substance, with a certain reference to Maine or Scotland because of its thistle motif in the wall tiles. The tiles are hand made, from H.F.’s PB Chateau Series.

The floor is a treated marble in 8 X 8 from H.F.’s AR Series, set on the diagonal. It does not look Mediterranean because it shows lines of the stone formation and it does not have a high polish. The border is honed brandy travertine. Its width is adjusted to leave a perfect shape for the marble center.

The shower floor is tumbled brandy travertine.

The pedestal sink and shower door are Italian imports, both available at HARBOR FARM. Sink and shower fixtures, towel bars, tooth brush holders, and toilet roll holders are from HARBOR FARM.
