Enclosed Porch

Downstairs again — at the west end.

Under the tiled roof is a “porch”, a room with 2 walls of glass, fully heated by in-floor heating, but with a splendid RAIS stove, a HARBOR FARM specialty. This is the Komba model.

The floor is tiled in H.F.’s RH Series Green tile in 13 X 13. Around the outer edge is a double row of H.F.’s BG Series 2 X 6 hand made stoneware tiles in two very close colors — Florentine and Blue Spruce. The wall behind the RAIS is tiled in 4 X 4s of the same series in three very close colors — Florentine, Blue Spruce, and Sea Foam — that are run together in free form setting. Among them are wonderfully executed 4 X 4 deer tiles in Mist. The wave border and shell corners are Mist.

The stair risers are tiled in triangles of Blue Spruce, Florentine, and Seaspray, and the treads are edged with bullnosed 3 X 6s in.

Wrought iron candlesticks and lamps are available at HARBOR FARM. So is the match box holder.
