They are ceramic. Hand molded in molds made from the real McCoy, frozen, they are fired in a kiln, in the usual manner of pottery making. Then, they are meticulously, individually hand painted by a man who spent many years of his life deep sea fishing, carefully observing them in fine detain. They are exquisitely painted to match life, even to the right shaped scales. They can be hung on a wall, or tiled into one. Or they can be mounted on boards. No two pieces are exactly alike, even if they are the same species.
