THE STORY OF THE RAIS WOOD STOVES
In 1970, the Danish architect Bent Falk was assigned to develop a series of “green” houses, houses that were environmentally friendly, but they were to have effective fireplaces. In response to this challenge, Falk designed the first of the RAIS wood burning stoves, which won him the Danish National Design award for that year. Today, RAIS stoves are internationally acclaimed for their efficiency and their high technical standards. Over the years, RAIS has continued to develop and refine the technology.
