PB Series-Harbor Farm

OUR PB Series

This is the D Line of our PB Series, a most interesting line of tile. For one thing, the tiles are made of 62 recycled or waste materials, all sorts of material, which gives them a certain robust quality. A 4” X 4” plain field tile weighs just on 9 ounces. They come in 112 glazes, among them wonderfully rich colors, which you can almost see into, and subtle colors. Field tiles come in 22 shapes and sizes, the largest of which is 12” X 12” and the smallest 1” X 1”.

Two of the bathrooms in our house have wainscots and shower walls in tiles from this series. Although neither is offered in exactly the same color or by the same name, one can see what an installation of this tile looks like. Certainly, either of the colors can be ordered today. Someone once commented that this tiling looks as if it might be in a London men's club. It certainly makes its own statement and is very pleasing.

PB tile Beauharnais “A Master Bathroom” in our own house is tiled in Beauharnais, a soft, oatmeal color with gentle variation. That is set off by the Spruce Green trim from the same line.

“Bath B” is tiled in London Fog, also with nice color variation, set off by trim in a strong blue glaze called Martinique.

PB tile line Raised Relief Raised relief decorated tiles can be rubbed so that the clay color “looks” through the glaze, a particularly attractive effect.
