"I love Acadia National Park. I live an hour from it and spend time there when I can. Whenever I am in Acadia, I feel my senses are filled: my sense of seeing, or hearing, smelling, feeling ... my husband, Kent, gave me blank staff paper and encourage me to compose when sitting at some of my favorite spots. Thus, this project evolved and the name "A Sense of Acadia" came naturally to it. I hope this music reminds you of your special places and that your senses will be filled with the wonder of this magical place."
"As was true of the first volume of A Sense of Acadia, the piano compositions featured on this volume were inspired by the special times throughout the year I have been privileged to spend at Acadia National Park in Maine...."
