Here are a couple of recepies for you to try:
GERMAN BAKED APPLE-
Remove core from apple and pare the skin, leaving apple whole. Place apple on prong pared end up. Top it with 1 T. brown sugar (honey or maple syrup); 1 tsp. butter and walnuts. Bake 15-20 minutes in 350 degree oven or microwave on high for 2-4 minutes. Serve right in the schnitzer. CAREFUL: IT WILL BE HOT!
POLYNESIAN BAKED APPLE
Core, pare and slice apple. Alternate apple sices with pineapple slices on the prong in the center of the schnitzer. Bake 15-20 minutes in 350 degree oven or microwave on high for 2-4 minutes. Top with caramel, butterscotch or chocolate syrup and whipped cream. Serve and ENJOY!
